We were delighted to welcome Mayor of Greater Manchester to Bowling Green Chorlton just before Christmas to join us for our collection for Manchester South Central Food Bank and Chorlton & Didsbury Foodbank – The Trussell Trust. Andy also joined the club on one of our runs to Salford Quays.
Members generously donated over two cars full of items which will be making its way to the food banks.
Other clubs and parkruns in Manchester have also done their own collection for local food banks. Great to see the running community coming together Run Wild Manchester, South Manchester parkrun, Sale Harriers Manchester, Macclesfield Harriers and Athletic Club.
